Terms of Use

DeluluJar is operated by AnyFikra. “We” and “us” mean AnyFikra; “you” means whoever is using the app. These terms cover the mobile app, delulujar.com, and the public message pages.

If you don't agree with something here, the remedy is to stop using the app and delete your account. Our Privacy Policy is part of this agreement.

You need to be at least 13 years old, or at least 16 if you're in the EEA or the UK. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms on your behalf. You also need to not be barred from using the service under the laws that apply to you.

One account per person. Don't sign up on someone else's behalf, and don't hand your account to anyone else.

Keep your login details to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at support@anyfikra.com if you think someone else has got in.

The details you enter should be true, particularly your birthday and your email address, since we use the email address to verify who you are when you ask us to do something irreversible.

Pairing is optional, and you can use the app alone. To pair, one of you generates a six-character code and the other enters it. Codes expire after 24 hours.

• Treat a pairing code like a password. Anyone who gets hold of a valid code can pair with you, and pairing gives them access to your jar, rituals, lists, trips and — if you switch it on — your location.
• You can be paired with one person at a time.
• Either of you can unpair at any time. Unpairing stops all future access, but doesn't retrieve notes you already sent.

Your notes, photos, voice clips, journal entries and everything else you create stay yours. We claim no ownership of them.

To actually run the app we need a narrow licence from you: permission to store your content, transmit it to the partner you paired with, and display it back to both of you. That licence is worldwide and royalty-free because servers are, but it exists only to operate DeluluJar. It ends when you delete the content, subject to the one exception below. We won't use your content in marketing, publish it, sell it, or train models on it.

You're responsible for what you send, and you confirm you have the right to send it — including any photo with another person in it.

Don't use DeluluJar to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse anyone — including through anonymous messages.
• Send sexual content involving minors, or anything else illegal. We report this to the authorities.
• Share intimate images of someone without their consent.
• Impersonate someone, or claim a handle to pass yourself off as another person.
• Send spam, ads, scams, phishing links, or malware.
• Pair with someone by tricking them, or use the app to monitor a partner against their will.
• Scrape the service, hammer the anonymous message endpoint, or automate submissions.
• Reverse-engineer the app, work around our security rules, or try to reach data that isn't yours.
• Fake ad views, tamper with your coin balance, or otherwise game the rewarded-ad system.

Location sharing is for people who both want it. Using DeluluJar to track someone who hasn't genuinely agreed is a breach of these terms and, in many places, a crime.

If you set up a handle, anyone with your link can send you a message without an account. Two things follow from that, and both are worth understanding before you share the link.

• We don't record who sends what — no account, no IP address, nothing. So we cannot identify a sender for you afterwards, no matter how much we'd like to help.
• Messages are unfiltered and come from strangers. If that's not what you want, don't set up a handle, or remove the one you have.

Changing or deleting your handle breaks the old link immediately. We can also disable a handle that's being used abusively.

Delulu+ is an auto-renewing subscription. It removes ads and unlocks the full note timeline. The price and billing period are shown on the paywall before you buy, in your local currency.

• Payment is taken by Apple or Google when you confirm, and again at the start of each renewal period.
• It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings or the Google Play Store — not through us, because we have no ability to cancel it for you.
• Cancelling stops future charges. You keep Delulu+ until the period you already paid for runs out.
• Refunds are handled by whichever store you bought through, under their policies. We can't issue them directly, though we're happy to back up a reasonable request.
• If the price changes, you'll be told in advance and asked to accept before it applies to you.

A subscription is tied to the store account that bought it. Reinstalling or switching devices is fine — use Restore Purchase. Switching between iOS and Android is not, because Apple and Google won't recognise each other's purchases.

Free accounts see ads, including an occasional full-screen ad before a note opens and rewarded ads you can choose to watch for coins. Delulu+ removes them.

Coins are a decorative in-app token. They are not money, not a currency, and not property. They can't be bought, sold, transferred, redeemed, or converted into anything of value, and we can change how they work or remove them entirely without owing you compensation. Any coins on your account disappear with it.

We'll try to keep DeluluJar running, but we can't promise it will never be down, and we may change or discontinue features. If we retire the service entirely, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to save what matters.

Some updates are mandatory. When an old version can no longer talk safely to our systems, the app will ask you to update before it lets you continue — usually because a security fix depends on it.

You can delete your account from Profile → Settings at any time. It takes effect immediately and is not reversible.

We can suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, puts other users at risk, or exposes us to legal liability. Where it's reasonable to do so we'll warn you first, but serious cases — anything involving minors, or credible threats — we act on immediately. If you think we got it wrong, email support@anyfikra.com and a person will look at it.

DeluluJar is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will preserve your data forever. Keep your own copies of anything you'd be upset to lose.

We're not responsible for what your partner does with a note you sent them, for the content of anonymous messages, or for anything that happens between the two of you. DeluluJar is a place to leave each other notes, not a relationship guarantee.

Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of your own country. If your local law gives you protections these terms can't waive, those protections still apply.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the greater of what you paid us in the previous 12 months or USD 50.

This doesn't limit liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law.

If you installed DeluluJar from the App Store, this agreement is between you and AnyFikra — not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app, and isn't responsible for it or for any claim you might have about it, including product liability or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you're not in a country subject to a US embargo and not on a US prohibited-parties list.

Installing from Google Play works the same way: the agreement is with us, and Google Play's own terms apply to the transaction. For support, contact us at support@anyfikra.com — that's our job, not theirs.

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll notify you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use DeluluJar afterwards means you accept it. If you don't, delete your account.

Email us first — support@anyfikra.com. Almost everything gets sorted out that way, and we'd rather fix a problem than argue about one.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or your use of DeluluJar, are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Morocco have jurisdiction.

If you're a consumer, that doesn't take anything away from you. You keep every right and protection the law of the country you live in gives you, those protections apply regardless of what this section says, and you can still bring a claim in your local courts.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
